Bill Whitfield, retired District Sales Manager for Kraft Foods and former City Council Member, was elected Mayor in May 2003.
Whitfield serverd as District 2 McKinney City Council Member from 1998 to 2002. A McKinney resident since 1992, Mayor Whitfield is a former president of the North Collin County Habitat for Humanity and has been a guest speaker for the National Watershed Coalition.
This is Mayor Whitfield's second term. The term expires in 2009.
